BLUEPRINT of my SOUL:
We as a people have forgotten how we initially arose to our current state. In the past our ancestors took the initiative to self-educate themselves, and to create wealth (land, schools, food and hospitals) for themselves in order to self-sustain themselves and the people within their community.

There was a time when reading and leading was illegal; and, shame and ignorance was commanded by some of our White Americans. And now, the latter attributes are voluntarily demonstrated by our black people.

The government has always played a flaky role within the African American community. So why are some of us sittin' around minding our individual lives waitin' on the government to take action and disperse a "reparations check"?

We must make it our responsibility and priority to invest in ourselves as individuals, and as a race. Asians, East Indians, and Latinos are on their way to the top with their self-investment practices. Their practices are displayed among our carry-out restaurants in DC, Laundromats across the nation, dry-cleaning across the nation, janitorial businesses, home-improvement businesses, gas stations, dollar stores, etc. With these establishments they have been able to hire their own people and provide them with the ability to support themselves with life capital such as food, education, health care, homeownership, employment, and overall economic/ political involvement.

And some of you might blame our lack of self-investment on some of our wealthy African Americans such as our entertainers, athletes, political activists, actors/actresses, etc. However, you and I are not exempt from participating in the upliftment of our people.

What are you doing to help uplift our people?

You may not be able to do it as big as them, but you can do little things such as educate yourself in order to attain that great paying job in order to have the ability to invest more in the black community. Give a college student $50 toward a text book so that he/she might be able accomplish their dreams and goals, and do the things that you might want to do but are unable. Feed the homeless within your community, fix dinner for a college student or senior citizen who is not able, mentor the kid next door, write a letter to the mayor etc. Hell, VOTE!!!!!!!!!! That's a BIG thing you can do for yourself and your community. It's the little things that you do that may help in a BIG way for yourself and others.

Some of us are waitin' for the next Martin Luther King, Jr. or Malcolm X to come and lead us to the promise land. Well....why don't you become your own Martin Luther King, Jr. or Malcolm X and create your OWN path to OUR upliftment as a people?

Let's get off our A***** Black People!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The early bird always catches the worm, and the last one to the dinner table always gets the leftovers.........LETS NOT BE LATE THIS TIME AROUND SO THAT WE MAY BE FULL LATER.

PS President Barack Obama has invited US (All Americans: Asians, Caucasians, African Americans, Hispanics, Indians, Africans, etc.) to a potluck dinner at the White House. The menu is "CHANGE".....are YOU going to RSVP? If so, what do YOU propose to serve US as a PEOPLE?
