- Today Is The Day

Today is the day I will change my mind,
and leave the negative things behind.
Today is the day i want to be free,
and not let life troubles get to me.
Today is the day i will do my best,
and make sure i focus to past each day's test.
Today is the day i will take a stand,
and choose to do right to my fellow man.
Today is the day i will put my foot down,
and encourage myself when i feel i want to frown.
Today is the day, no longer will i doubt
in spite of the grumblers who stand about.
You look at me and ask"How will you start?",
"Well, first there must be a change in my heart".
I will hang with new friends who want to achieve,
and who want a good education cause that's what i believe.
I will respect those around me, young and old,
for respect is the key, that's what I've been told.
I will demand excellence you see,
for i must insist to become a better me.
I will reach for the stars no matter how hard it seems,
and fly like the bird with the knowledge this journey brings.
So you see it's not impossible , I must take life day by day
and do the right things as i travel along the way!
The Value of My Drawings
There are many reasons why I like to draw. One, I have talent for seeing beauty in ordinary objects. When I was in kindergarten, I discover my talent for drawing.
Even though i was in a strange setting and often found myself crying a lot, I would find comfort in drawings. I loved to experiment with the different mixtures of colors. I have kept some of my drawings from when i was little and they are very dear too me.
I started off by drawing houses, different abstract shapes, and pictures of stick people. As, I began to go to higher grades. My drawings became more intense. I found myself comparing my beginning picture to what I can do now.
I have improved a lot. My art work is amazing. I can now make my own T. Shirts, and fabulous paintings.
This exciting work of art can lead to great careers. I take pride in my collection of art drawings, and try to preserve them for my own art gallery one day.

You have given me good advice that i will cherish for the rest of my life because you are a sister to me.
Tia Lyles- Williams is my buddy-->home skillet biscuit...We like scooby and shaggy lol she try her best to do things for me. She is always pushin me to become better and i thank her 4 dat. Tia always encourage me in things that i do or try to do. If i don't do my best i'm in trouble. She wants me to strive for excellence nothing less than that. She is a real cool person that makes me laugh and be happy. Luv her 2 death nothin more 2 say 2 many words 2 explain.
